Professional grade walking foot, center needle position straight stitch. The walking foot (even feed / dual feed) is designed to feed the top and bottom layers of fabric at the same time. The feed teeth on the foot work in conjunction with the feed teeth on the sewing machine moving the layers in unison. Use this foot for difficult to feed fabrics: heavy, bulky, plaids, slippery, batting or quilted fabrics. It is recommended when using the walking foot that you run the machine at a medium speed.
